Summer Fun

After the wedding festivities were over we had some time to relax..
Seattle had a stretch of uncommonly hot weather so to cool off and
show off the beautiful NW to Matt and Sym we took a Ferry ride to
Bainbridge Island and enjoyed lunch and some cool breezes

Before they left we took Matt and Sym and kids
to the barn to meet Cali. Satchel was not having any
of it but Nina and Rachel and I enjoyed riding together
even though the weather was very hot and the girls
were wearing skirts - which left them with sweaty
horse hair covered legs after the ride - they must be true
equestrians in the making because there were
still smiles all around !

As you can see the bride looked beautiful and so did the room. Her colors were pink and green and the florist did a great job! I have seen a few pics from the professional photographer and they are good too so I will send you a link to see them

The lovely couple...so sad that I didnt get more pictures that did the dress justice. Kayla looked gorgeous. I just don't like getting in the way of the hired photographers.

Rachel was in rare form....even for her....I wish I had captured her practically sliding across the floor to pose in a picture with Jenna.

Joel turns 30

Friends in P-land

One of my closest friends, Angie, came to visit Joel and me in Portland a couple of weeks ago and we had a blast walking all over the city with her and her friend Nolan. She loved it. We visited Multnomah Falls, spent some time watching kids breakdancing to old school Michael Jackson on the water front, saw a movie at the Bagdad Theatre, and Angie even kinda cried when she saw the awesome view from the condo.

The RS presidency came over to visit just as they got into town and about convinced Angie to move out here. Seriously, got her some job connections and everything in one little visit. I'm crossing my fingers.

Rachel steals the show

So....Rachel couldnt wait for Alyssa to come out. In fact, from the moment we arrived she kept yelling Llysa! Congratulations! Ssa! Lations!
