Patrick-Congratulations!
That is great . We are very happy for you. How long are you in the MTC? Maybe now you can help translate some of those Big D Phrases he picked up when he was a Korean War Hero!
Cheers!
Todd and Keri and Family!
ps. I think Squirm would be a delicacy over there-squirmmmmm
Patrick, we hope you received our letter. The 'war hero' went on about some of his memories, but remember that was muchos anos pasado. Remember I think I mentioned with all the Spanish you were studying you would probably go to Japan...well, not to far off. I wonder if your Tae Kwan Do talents had anything to do with this call? [Just kidding. Father knew where your special spirit was needed. By the way is Tae Kwan Do Korean or Japanese or other?
We will be anxious to see what Kris and Bryce have to say. We are very happy for you dear.
Love from your faraway Grandparents
Congratulations!!! We are soooooooo excited for you! We'll have to get together when you get home and give you the scoop on Korea! Bryce was born outside of Seoul in a town called Kyoung Gi Do (not sure if you can see it on the map) he still has some of his Dad's family in Korea and friends so we'll give you some people to contact (if in your area). Please let us know if you have any questions!!!
Congrats Patrick!! That is awesome and I'm sure you'll be a FANTASTIC missionary!!
Hey Patrick,
Congratulations on your mission call! That is exciting. After college I went to Korea for a year and taught English in a language institute in Suwon--it shows on your map, just south of Seoul. It was quite an experience. I talked to quite a few missionaries while I was there, and some of the people I taught with were RM's from Korea. I have lots I can share with you. For now though, just go to the restaurant Sam Hawk in Provo and start eating Korean food. Do you know it already? The kalbi and bulgogi are good, and bibimbop is always good too. And start getting a taste for kimchi, because you will be eating it every day, 3 (or more) times a day. It didn't take long for me to start loving it. :)
You have a lot to look forward to!
xoxo

Actually Patrick if you want me and Sarah can take you to a couple good Korean places up here. We both love Kimchi, Kalbi, Bulgogi and of course Bi Bim Bap...
