It was great to see so many last weekend at Joel and Sarah's wedding/Reception!
I am so grateul for all the love and support of a terrific family! Thank you for traveling far and for putting up (and putting up with) the Mellor/Wi clan. Thank you also for the pictures that have already been posted! I will attempt to add a few and I know Kris will do a better job than I when she gets home.
On Friday April 24th 2009 Joel Donald Mellor Graduated from BYU Law School
At Law School Graduation they are "Hooded" with this collar thing that looks like something out of Harry Potter :)
Unfortunately I can not figure out how to rotate the picture so you will have to rotate your heads :)
Graduation was held at the Provo Tabernacle - a very cool old building. Elder Dallin Oakes was in attendance because his granddaughter was in Joel's class.
On Friday the 1st of May we had a family get together to meet Sarah's side and to frost the gluten free cupcakes that were served at the reception
We were glad that Joel and Sarah had taken most of their Bridal pictures on Friday morning when we woke Sat to a down pour! I am sure grateful that Joel knew to park under the JS Memorial building and take the tunnel to the temple! Sarah's grandfather Walker did a very nice job on the sealing and by the time the bride and groom came out the weather had cleared enough to take some cute group photo's.
OK we're not all cute in the group photos but Isn't Jenna Cute!!!!
As mentioned before the reception was held in an old building that has been converted into a yoga study - it was very cool!
It was fun to have so many of my siblings together! We missed Lee but don't worry we have some creative ways to photo shop him into the pictures!
It was nice to have them there to 'support' the bride and groom
Joel and Sarah went for an eclectic vintage look and I think they achieved that goal beautifully! with all the blue glass and handmade art projects as well as their wedding attire.
Rick led the team to 'decorate' Joel's car and they did a nice job!
and
thanks to many helping hands - especially Stu and A and Sue and Matt and the Mellor/Wi's and Jones families We were able to get the yoga studio back to a zen like state pretty quickly
Sarah's friend Jesse was the official photographer and he was there ALL day taking pictures so I am sure his will be wonderful and we let let you know when they are available on his web site.
Thanks again for all your love and support!
We sure missed Grandma and Grandpa but they were in our hearts throughout the day!

Well, OK the tears started immediately. Thank you so much, dear, for those memories. They will all find a place in a photo album. I do hope the time will come when I can look at them without shedding tears. I close my eyes and imagine all the good times that will be remembered on that day. You all look so beautiful, yes even our sons. And, Jen that is a gorgeous picture of you and little Jenna. That will have a frame. I am anxiously awaiting for more. And thank you for the group photo. Those are always treasured. Love to you all, Mom
